Optus is an Australian telecommunications company, delivering more than 11 million services to our customers every day across mobile, broadband and digital solutions.

At Optus, we're looking for a Senior Manager, Go-To-Market (GTM) to drive the successful delivery of customer propositions, campaigns and strategic initiatives across our Consumer and Small Business business. This highly visible role brings together stakeholders across marketing, sales, digital and operations to ensure initiatives are prioritised, governed and seamlessly executed. You'll play a key role in translating business priorities into actionable plans, driving cross-functional alignment, and delivering exceptional customer and commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the orchestration and governance of go-to-market initiatives across Consumer and Small Business.
  • Drive alignment between strategy, product, marketing, channel execution, customer communications and operational readiness teams.
  • Ensure propositions, campaigns, offers and initiatives meet agreed governance and business requirements.
  • Support the review and approval of customer and market communications to ensure consistency, compliance and customer relevance.
  • Facilitate business readiness activities, ensuring teams understand objectives, impacts, dependencies and delivery requirements.
  • Champion the customer execute with excellence to deliver flawless, integrated through-the-line customer- first executions, across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.
  • Identify and help resolve risks, issues and delivery blockers to keep programs moving forward successfully.

What makes you perfect for the role?

You're an organised and commercially minded professional who enjoys bringing people together to deliver outcomes. You can navigate complexity, influence stakeholders at all levels and balance customer needs with business priorities.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience managing complex programs, projects or go-to-market initiatives in a large, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation capability.
  • A customer-first mindset combined with commercial acumen.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and governance experience.
  • The ability to drive outcomes through collaboration rather than direct authority.
  • A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive remuneration and employee discounts. Make life easier (and more affordable) with $80 monthly credit and 25% off Optus products and unique shopping discounts with our retail partners.
  • Flexible working arrangements with opportunities to work three days in the office, two days remote or home.
  • Vibrant and collaborative office campus that includes cafes, convenience store, chill out zones, GP, post office, gym and on-site childcare centre.
  • Competitive leave policies, including additional 'Connected’ days to focus on culture, family, health, community, or whatever’s important to you.
  • We support growing families with inclusive, carer-neutral paid Parental Leave of up to 16 weeks.
  • Direct your own development and build future-ready skills with Optus U’s industry-focused micro-credentials, developed with La Trobe and Macquarie Universities.
  • Build meaningful connections through employee-led networks and diversity initiatives including Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network and Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+).
  • Put your wellbeing first with free access to counselling and support services, 24/7 — in-person, by phone, SMS, or video.
  • Free Optus bus from Macquarie University Metro Station (every 6-8 minutes); morning and afternoon.
